1. Favorite Winter Nail Polish?
I would have to say that one of my favorite winter nail polishes is Red Carpet from Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear. It is the perfect color of red, and it has the perfect amount of glitter in it for Christmastime! It is the one on the far right by the way. I used this picture because it is part of my nail polish collection, which I promise will be up soon!
2. Favorite Winter Lip Product?
I am going to go practical on this question, and do a lip balm. In the winter, my lips get extremely dry, and I need a really hydrating lip balm that last a while. EOS and Softlips do not even help at all! So I turn to one of my favorite lip products, my Minted Rose Lip Balm. You can find this at Sephora for $6 or $7, and it comes in this flavor, or in regular or strawberry. I HIGHLY recommend checking this product out if you have really dry lips like I do, because it is a lifesaver! See my review from when I first purchased it here
3. Most Worn Winter Clothing Piece?
In the winter, I almost always grab one thing as I am heading out the door. And that is my Northface. I have had it for almost 2 years now, and it still looks almost brand new! I like it because it can be just like a cozy hoodie, or it can be your coat!
4. Most Worn Winter Accessory?
I had to think a while about this one, but I finally came up with an answer. It has to be a cream colored scarf that has gold threads in it as well. It is so pretty, and I find myself reaching for it at least once a week, if not more! I found it on clearance at Charlotte Russe a few years back, and still enjoy wearing it even though some of the threads are starting to come out!
5.Favorite Winter Scent/Candle?
Twisted Peppermint from Bath and Body Works! I have the body spray, and I wear it a ton in the winter months! I really like minty flavored things, so this was an obvious purchase for me to pick up! I also picked up the twist peppermint hand sanitizer from BBW a few days ago and I love it so much! I am looking forward to trying a few different holiday scents at BBW this year!
6. Favorite Winter Beverage?
A few weeks ago I posted about 4 different fall beverages that I either liked or wanted to try. If you haven't read that yet, feel free to check it out! But I have to say my favorite overall is just normal hot chocolate. Yes, I am a boring person, and as you can see from that post, I am trying to branch out a little. The problem is, I really don't like coffee or drinks that have espresso in them. So it is hard for me to find lots of different drinks at Starbucks and stuff. so if you have a favorite drink without coffee in it from Starbucks or that you make at home, please tell me in the comments!
7. All Time Favorite Christmas/Holiday Movie?
ELF!! I know so many people like this one, but I have been watching it every year since it came out I believe, so it is sort of a childhood memory for me even though I was a little older when it came out. Also, I really enjoy watching It's A Wonderful Life. It is a classic that everyone needs to watch!
8. Favorite Christmas/Holiday Song?
Honestly, I am one of those people that once December comes and I get over the initial shock of Christmas music, I love almost every song.
9. Favorite Holiday Food/Treat
Schwans Peppermint Ice Cream. In case you didn't know, I love pretty much anything minty. So every year when this delicious ice cream comes back, I stock up! I especially love it with chocolate ice cream as well, or my favorite is over a warm brownie. Yum!
10. What is your favorite Christmas Decoration this year?
At my house, we pretty much decorate the same year after year. But I always enjoy this little latter that goes about halfway up the tree and is about 5 inches wide that has little wooden cats "climbing" up it. It is so adorable, plus in case you didn't know, I have 4 cats and am a cat lover!
11. What's at the top of your Christmas list?
I honestly don't really want anything big this Christmas, so probably the thing I need the most is new ear buds because I lost one pair, one pair a cat chewed up, and the other stopped working!
12. What are your plans for the holidays this year?
Well, this year we don't have anything too big going on. We don't really do anything special on Christmas Eve, but on Christmas Morning we wake up and open presents and eat breakfast. Then we play with or try on our new gifts, and then later that night go to a Christmas Dinner with my mom's side of the family. Pretty boring!
