Goodreads

Today I wanted to talk about something I have recently gotten hooked on. This past year I realized I only read a few books because I didn't "have time." In reality, I just spent time doing other things such as blogging or watching movies. This year I am going to try to read a few more books, but I needed to find something to motivate me. So I decided to make a Goodreads account!

Whenever I would see a book I wanted to read, I would always just screenshot it on my phone so I would have it for future reference. Soon that got too cluttered though, so I now use Goodreads to keep track of the books I want to read, am currently reading, and read in the past. When I was younger I used to read a TON of books (think about 5 Nancy Drew books per week) and record them all in a journal. As I grew older and got into middle and high school, I began to read less and less as I got more into Youtube and blogs. I am really trying to unplug for a few minutes and read a little bit more this year!

Take a look at my Goodreads account if you want to see what  I am reading right now or want to read. Also, feel free to leave me any book suggestions in the comments to read in the future or leave a link to your Goodreads account so I can see what you read too!

xo, Scarlett

  1. I always forget to use goodreads!! You've inspired me to download the app and try again to keep track of everything I'm reading!

  3. I'm such a bookwurm, I read many books!
When I'm not having finals (like I am now) I read about 1 book a week. + I all buy them so I pretty much have my own library haha!
If you're looking for good books, let me know what genre (thriller/romantic/chicklit/psychological thriller/etc.) you like & I will give you some names of books/writers I think are good :)
Going to your list right now :) xo Lyn
