Love It or Leave It: Influenster

About two months ago I signed up for Influenster after seeing another blogger talk about it. In case you haven't heard of it, it is basically a community you can join and leave reviews. There are also perks such as Twitter parties and you can be chosen to receive Voxboxes.

"The Influenster Team ships out thousands of exclusive VoxBoxes every month from brands you know and love (or will soon love) for FREE. Some programs feature an assortment of great products while others spotlight one awesome brand."

The main reason I joined was just to check it out and see if the VoxBoxes were worth the hype. I was chosen for a campaign just a few weeks after I joined, and I got my box about a week after I received the email that I had been picked.

In that email, it said a Head & Shoulders VoxBox, but I still didn't know exactly what I was getting until I opened it. I received the shampoo, conditioner, and scalp soother. I have already used the shampoo and conditioner and I like the way they smell so I will definitely use all of it. I have yet to try the scalp soother, but I will try it soon I am sure!

I am am not going to do a full review of the specific products in this post, but I will say that I recommend signing up for Influenster! You don't know what campaign(s) you will be matched with until it happens, but most likely you will be able to use the products. Since it is FREE, you really don't have anything to lose! All you have to do it review the products for them. Super simple and easy.

Have you tried Influenster? Will you try it soon? Share in the comments!

  1. I tried Influenster a while back, but after a doing the required reviews, etc I never got chosen for a voxbox. When I was finally chosen for something, I didn't even get offered a whole voxbox. I got sent some Palmolive dishwashing liquid, so I deactivated my account. It wasn't worth it all the work to "maybe" get something I actually wanted (or could review on my fashion blog), maybe it's different now though.

  2. Honestly, I've never really been able to figure out how it works.. Thanks for writing this post about it though! I'll probably try and get back into it eventually!
